HAED SAL and a new start

Here is Sunnia after the February SAL.  I really wanted to finish this page, but still have about 3 more columns to go.  This page has taken me the longest ever.  I cannot wait to be done with it!

Part of the reason I didn’t get as far as I could have is a new start.  I started M Designs “Maw Maws Quilt”.  I found the silk conversion from Vikki Clayton silks and then just had to start it once I got the fabric.  It is the 40 count as recommended.  This is the first time I have stitched on 40 count-it is very small!  But I love how it is turning out. Here is the first pic.

Tomorrow is my son’s 13th birthday, and I officially become the mother to teenagers only.  I probably won’t get much stitched.
